Jeanne A. Heinzer, President of Heinzer Consulting is a cross-cultural training consultant and International Coach specializing in personal leadership, cross-cultural communication and (Dual) Career Coaching. She has double nationality (German, Swiss) and has been working in managerial roles and as a business owner across cultures (Western Europe, North America) for 20 years. Mrs. Heinzer facilitated numerous sessions for managers working for multinational corporations in Switzerland with the aim of enabling them to living a fulfilled life in their new location.

She left the corporate world eight years ago to pursue her interest in ‘personal leadership and wellbeing’ and to be able to lead and inspire individuals to be all they can be. Her life as a mobile Dual Career Partner pushed her to clearly define what she needed to combine personal and family happiness with professional success. She strongly wishes to encourage women to create focus, commitment as well as a clear vision for their whole life.

Mrs. Heinzer served on the board of professional women’s organizations in Europe, is a member of the International Coach Federation and the European Professional Womens Network.

Her recent speaking engagements included workshops at INSEAD, a leading European business school in France, the Women’s International Networking and Leadership (WIN) Conference in Prague and Paris, the Families in Global Transition Conference in Houston, Texas, as well as at the Society for Intercultural Education and Training in New York City. She is the author of ‘Living Your Best Life Abroad’, a self coaching guide for women accompanying their partners internationally and lives with her husband and their two children in Basel.

Educational and work background

Her working background is diverse, working with more than fifty nationalities worldwide. Prior to starting Heinzer Consulting in 2001 she has worked as Executive Education Manager for a leading European Business School, Director of an Asian Tourist Office, as well as Public Relations Consultant and Manager Communications for the Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Industry. In these roles she developed excellent communication skills operating effectively at all levels within these organizations.

Jeanne Heinzer studied for a diploma in communications from the Communication, Advertising and Marketing Foundation in London, holds a management diploma from the BPIH Business School in Berne and a B.A. in Languages (English, French). She also holds a certificate in coaching from the University of Applied Sciences (FHBB) in Basel and pursued studies at the Institute of Intercultural Communication in Winterthur. Switzerland. She currently studies for her ACPC accreditation at the International Coach Academy.
